Acusmatiq MATME is a non-profit association based in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was officially founded in 2018 but draws origin from Acusmatiq festival, an electronic arts festival based in Ancona, Italy running since 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its core tasks are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • dissemination of research advancements in music technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • cross-fertilization of contemporary and popular electronic music composition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • historical research on the development of the XX century musical industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    ACUSMATIQ FESTIVAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One of the most long-lived electronic music festivals in Italy, it hosts since 2006 world-class artists, unreleased performances and workshops.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    MUSEO DEL SYNTH<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Italian Synth Museum (or Museo del Synth Italiano e Marchigiano<\/em>), was started as a temporary exhibition in 2008 inside the Acusmatiq Festival. In 2018 it spinned off as a cultural event of its own and it is now one of the most challenging projects of the association. The activities of the Museo include restoration of vintage instruments, organization of conferences and showcase of current Italian products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    CIM 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Acusmatiq MATME organized the XXIII Colloqui di Informatica Musicale (CIM) in 2022 together with AIMI (Ass.ne Informatica Musicale Italiana) and Universit\u00e0 Politecnica delle Marche.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
